5 steps to follow to run LinkedIn ads

Let’s discuss the 5 steps you should be following when running an ad on LinkedIn.

Create a campaign Manager Account

To start an ad campaign on LinkedIn you need to have a Campaign Manager Account.

Upper right corner of your LinkedIn page you will get an option called Advertise.

Now, just click on that option you’ll be redirected to a page where you’ve to create a LinkedIn manager account.

You need to submit information such as your account name, Currency, and of course Url of your LinkedIn page.

if you don’t have any, you can create a new LinkedIn page by clicking on the options called “Create new LinkedIn Page”

Once you’ve done, you’ll be redirected to a new page that will look like this

Choose your objective

The second step that you need to follow is choosing your objective.

You can choose any one Objective for 1 ad campaign. These include Awareness, Consideration, Conversions.

Select your Target Audience

When you’ve done selecting your objective you need to decide who is your target audience for your ads.

LinkedIn offers more than 200 targeting calculations from job experience to interests.

You can also exclude by audience attributes and matched audiences.

Choose your Ad format

As mentioned before in this article, you’ve four types of ads options Message ads, Dynamic Ads, Text Ads, and Sponsored Ads.

You’ve also options like single image ad, Carousel image ad, video ad, Text ad, Spotlight ad, conversation ad, and Event ad.
